Sim racers often have to do extensive research before making a purchase for their rig. The Motion Plus is upgradable and can take you from 2-DOF to 3-DOF and even 4-DOF with the addition of a traction loss base.

The Next Level Racing® Motion Plus Platform is a full cockpit mover which means it takes the entire chassis and drives it off live telemetry from the game, so braking loads your shoulders, curbs snap through the frame, and gear shifts land in your chest instead of your speakers.
That signal is read and acted on 4,000 times per second, with movement reaching speeds of up to 1,100mm per second. There is no lag between what the car does and what your body feels. Since 2014, sim racers, flight sim pilots, and professional simulation operators around the world have been running Next Level Racing® motion under their rigs and the Motion Plus Platform is the first in that line to deliver heave, pitch, and roll together.

One platform gets you moving. The included pivot bar lets a single unit run on its own, giving your chassis 2-DOF motion straight out of the box. No second purchase required to get started with partial heave mechanics.
Add a second Motion Plus Platform and the rig unlocks its full range: pitch, roll, and complete heave mechanics working together as 3-DOF chassis motion. You roll into corners at up to 21 degrees per second of velocity roll, catching weight transfer as it happens rather than after the car has already stepped out. Braking and acceleration register at up to 8 degrees per second, which is exactly the cue you need to modulate the pedal instead of guessing at it.

The Motion Plus Platform bolts to your cockpit using the supplied foot assembly kit and pre-cut mounting points. It comes with hand tools, digital instructions, and step-by-step assembly videos which are all you need. Most users are installed and driving inside the hour.
Software is just as direct. The Next Level Racing® Platform Manager was rebuilt around the Motion Plus device and runs click-and-play with all major racing and flight titles on PC, with support for new releases added on an ongoing basis. Motion strength, bump feel, roll, and pitch are each dialed in with a single control, and when you're running multiple units you can set effect intensity for each one independently. The engineering underneath features magnetic encoders mounted to the motor shaft feed exact position data back from hardware to game.
It's also built for a house with neighbors and thin walls. The platform is commercial-grade equipment in a compact, low-noise package that fits a spare room rather than a warehouse.
